On the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2019, FORO Studio and Alessandro Iovine present Rug-o-Rama, a series of tapestries tribute to the city of Milan. In the 5Vie district the designers tell about identities of the city, taking its beauty and filtering it with a creative eye.
The challenge was to convey the strength of a place in a furnishing product - the tapestry in this case - where the concreteness of the materials meets the abstractness of emotions.
The concept involves the use of recycled materials of the local fashion and furniture industries. This to bring them to new life through unique pieces of furniture.
